I have been at the disease center for several decades now and I started with another wonderful physician at the Rhumatic Disease center and when he retired Dr Pasha stepped in to manage my care. I was nervous at the time about the change but it was a very positive heathy change for me! I would recommend Dr.Pasha to anyone! I was 39 when I started at the center and I am now 66 and still going pretty strong. Much of my ability to continue to be active and enjoy my life is due to the great care I have received from Dr. Pasha and the team at the Rhumatic Disease Center.

I've struggled with Gout for 20+ years. Dr. Albert is the man! Changed my lifeas to how I feel to be able to be active again.

I was referred to a rheumatologist 6+ mos ago, with no specifics on who to call. After reading reviews and checking availability in/around MKE, I managed to book an appt in a relatively timely fashion. My husband came along for moral support, as the initial test result that warranted the referral had me quite upset. I had no idea what to expect. Dr. Pasha put us at ease from the first moment. We were amazed at the amount of time he spent with us--asking questions, taking notes and simply getting to know us. He is genuine, empathetic and thorough--he even took the time to call me, after-hours, to respond to a frantic email sent to him earlier that day. Highly recommend!

When I started on this program, I was in a lot of pain. Every joint would hurt. With in just two infusions, I started to feel the difference. I would feel it working in difference joints. It was a weird feeling, but I also knew it was working and doing its job. Right now I believe it is a miracle. I walk further, I stand taller, and I sleep better.

Dr. Albert is wonderful, he listens and explains everything in a caring manner. I have remicade infusions every 6 weeks and the infusion staff is great. They are polite, efficient and very skilled.

Several years ago I was suffering from frequent and severe gout flares. I am very allergic to all of the usual treatments for gout. I saw Dr. Albert and he started me on Krystexxa. We ran the usual course of infusions every 2 weeks for 12 weeks and the then 4 more infusions every 4 weeks. As soon as I started the Krystexxa the gout flare ups stopped. About 10 months after the infusions ended I had another flare up. I called Dr. Albert and he restarted the infusions every 3 months. My uric acid is under control and I haven’t had any more flares. I am very impressed by the care I receive at RDC. All of the people I have encountered are very kind and courteous and take excellent care of me. Dr. Albert is very dedicated and cares very much for each of his patients. Coming to this clinic is always a pleasant experience.

If it were not for Dr. Albert and the good folks at the Rheumatic Disease Center, I would have never gotten the diagnosis I got. HLB27/Ankylosing Spondlytis, an autoimmune disorder, that leads to tremendous joint pain and walking eventually at a ninety-degree angle. When it's diagnosed and treated, the outlook is phenomenal. In fact, last year, I can comfortably say that I was able to exercise vigorously (over 6,000 miles biking including many races) without missing a single day due to pain, maybe the first year in my 52 years. My infusions which I get every six weeks, coupled with a good diet, and regular exercise, keep me very balanced. Prior years, if I missed an infusion by more than a couple of weeks, pain would set in. After the next infusion, things would go back to being pain-free. Thank you Dr. Albert and Team Rheumatic Disease Center. I actually look forward to my infusions. They make it very comfortable and easy.

I love this place. My Gaut is under control now. I can sleep, get out of bed, walk down the hallway and even walk while golfing again without pain. Go in right away and get your pain under control.

I have been seeing Dr. Albert at the Rheumatic Disease Center for a number of years. His care and treatment have been exceptional. I had very significant psoriatic arthritis. With his recommended course of treatment, all indications of psoriasis are completely gone and my arthritis is well under control. My experience at the RDC has always been first rate.

I have been seeing Dr Albert for 10 years now and am thoroughly impressed with him, as well as the staff at RDC. They are always professional, but also friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Hameed was very thorough in his first meeting with me - asked a lot of quesitons, did a complete exam of my joints and physical person, and I received a very thorough written copy of his report, plans for followup, etc., which began that same day with xrays and lab work. I have hope for my future care of my joints so I may be able to function again in my daily activities without so much pain.

I suffered from gout for 42 years. I was wheel chair bound, multiple hospitalizations. Referred to see Dr. Albert. He started krystexxa therapy. After the first 2 infusions I am able to walk, do the things I want without any pain. Life changing care and treatment by Dr. Albert and his infusion team. If you have gout, he is the doctor to see. You'll be impressed by his care.

Was referred to Dr. Albert for severe gout. Most people don’t realize how high uric acid levels can destroy your health beyond gout pain. Dr. Albert has changed my life, from barely being able to walk for weeks at a time, to lowing my UA levels significantly. I literally don’t have to worry about gout pain any longer. But more importantly, we’re removing the high levels of damaging urate crystals in my body. Dr. Albert is a must-see gout specialist.

After my first infusion, I was shocked with how much better I felt. I had days without any pain. It was so nice and I took a walk. That has been a long time coming. My insurance company recently stopped covering the medication I have been receiving for the last 10 years and instead had me switch to a generic version from a different manufacturer. The new medication did nothing to relieve my pain. Dr. Albert successfully battled the insurance company and got me reapproved to resume my old medication.

Fran was down on hope until she found Dr Albert. He prescribed Ruxience infusion and it turn Frans life around. She now has hope again. She went from being pushed around in a wheelchair to now walking independently with no canes or walkers. She is even doing what she like the most and that is cooking and making cornbread. I didn’t tell Dr Albert I’m experiencing pain from head to toe. I thought he would order me a MRI and prescribed me a few pills until I see my pain management specialist on February 27 th to get me through. I did mention l’m having pain in my head&over the rest of my body.

I have been getting my Remicade infusions prescribed by Doc Albert since 2013. He has also prescribes pain med as a pre-med when I know I’m going to be really physically active. The only issue is the install of the catheter. Some of the people that do this hit the vane right away others stab me 2 or 3 times.

Dr. Albert saw me several years ago after I had suffered with chronic gout for many years before. I had even gotten to the point where I could not walk without being in severe pain as the gout had affected both knees. His compassionate care and concern was evident from day one. He listened to me, and then prescribed a course of action which in my case included infusion therapy with Krystexxa, a relatively new drug at the time. When my insurance balked at paying for this therapy, Dr. Albert went to bat for me, talking directly with the insurance company, and convincing them that it was truly necessary for my well-being. Fast-forward to today, and I have had no relapse of my gout, and I am walking 2+ miles every day completely pain-free. I am enjoying life because I can be active without pain. Dr. Albert truly cares about his patients, and is always available should you have questions. I appreciate him and the staff of the RDC for their care and concern for me as an individual. I came to Dr. Albert about 4 years ago struggling to walk, shoulder, knee pain and swollen hands and ankles. After Dr. Abert did some test, I was diagnosed with RA. Dr. Albert is one of the most kind and compassionate Dr's I have ever had. Being diagnosed with RA was a scary experience but he made sure I understood the process and what to expect. I’m a college student using public transport to get to and from the clinic, and in the few times I’ve had issues with an extensively delayed bus, both Dr. Albert and the lab techs have been extremely forgiving. I would absolutely recommend the clinic and commend all the staff for their patience and flexibility.

Love the RDC! So hard to find specialists now. I drive 200 miles to see Dr. Kushi. This was my 1st televisit and it went flawlessly. After 15 years of frustration with rheumatic pain, I am feeling SO much better and am doing so without opioids.

Dr. Albert has been treating my gout for several months. Approximately 6 months ago I was told by a Podiatrist I needed my toe amputated due to open draining sores. Luckily I was referred to Dr. Albert prior to having the amputation. He was confident he could treat the problem and took time to educate me about Gout and its progression & destruction. My toe has since healed and my uric acid level has decreased with the medication and treatment he prescribed. I highly recommend anyone suffering from gout to schedule an appointment with Dr. Albert.

I had a thorough and pleasant experience.

Yesterday it was terrible. I requested a slower drip rate as I get a bad reaction when they put it up all the way. This has not been an issue over many years. Yesterday they refused. I’ve had a horrible time, nausea, horrible headache, couldn’t sleep, lots of Tylenol. I want to cut my head off. 22 hours later, still have a bad headache. I have sent a note to the doctor. If this is a new policy, I will have to find a new provider.

The nurses and assistants are so kind and very helpful. Lindsey, my Nurse Practitioner is wonderful also! She makes me feel so at ease and I never feel rushed. I can always ask her questions and tell her my concerns. She takes the time to answer everything! I would definitely recommend Rheumatic Disease Center to my friends.

I had a Remicade infusion yesterday. My left wrist has a horrible stinging pain, feels like an electrical shock from my wrist up my arm. Happens when I move my hand/wrist a certain way, very very painful, then it goes away. Could be nerve pain. This started when the tech inserted the needle in my left ante cubicle to start the infusion. She was rolling the vein around the needle because she missed the vein. While she was rolling the vein, my wrist felt like there was a sharp knife inserted into it. I told her it really hurt. She took the needle out. Inserted it into my right hand, blew the vein in my hand. The next poke was in the left ante cubicle, the infusion went through. I did complain to the nurse about the pain in the left wrist and arm. She said it would go away. It definitely hasn’t gone away. Left a message on the infusion answering machine today about the pain. No returned call yet.

Dr. Albert is compassionate and passionate about the care he provides. He is always concerned about the reality of my physical situation and is so supportive of all my needs.

He is such a great Dr. He has helped so much with the rheumatoid .

Doctor Kushi is an extraordinary example of what a Doctor should be. He’s extremely knowledgeable in his field. He has been taking care of my autoimmune disease, rheumatoid arthritis since day one. Doctor Kushi has controlled the pain, he is managing my illness with extreme care. He’s a very approachable Doctor. Doctor Kushi is not around the corner from me, but I will travel any given distance to see someone as extraordinary, dedicated to his patients and so attuned to his patients physical and emotional needs. Having an autoimmune disease is something that the body endures and our minds have to get around this with grace and acceptance. Doctor Kushi listens to his patients, doesn’t rush them, he gives each one of us time and care. He’s the Doctor of Doctors when it comes to Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Dr. Kushi is a very intelligent doctor and has answered many of my questions not even related to my arthritis! He is very attentive and knowledgeable!

Dr. Albert showed genuine concern from the moment we met. After 1 1/2 years of pain I felt he would be the doctor that would figure it out.

My np Lindsey is always perfect, top notch. My nurses varied. Amy told me my chair didn’t recline and couldn’t get an IV in. Next nurse tried twice and couldn’t get it in. Third nurse Titus, got it in no problem. I take some responsibility because I was told I wasn’t hydrated enough. But I’ve never had a problem with a nurse getting the IV in first time. Never.

Always very kind. A Very sweet man. He cares about you, explains things thoroughly so you can understand. He explains all of your options and is very time efficient in doing so.
